Starting over is serious business

With her professional skiing career cut short by an accident, Hannah James is putting all her energy into transforming Snowy Sky Resort into something special. There's only one obstacle. Famous pro-snowboarder-turned-consultant Tate Addison has his own ideas about taking the Rankins, Alaska, lodge to the next level. But Hannah won't compromise her dreams. She gets that Tate is trying to create a stable home for his orphaned six-year-old nephew—a boy Hannah already adores. And if she isn't careful, she could also fall for the boy's too-attractive uncle. Is she risking heartbreak? Or do she and Tate really want the same things out of life?

I'm happy to be a part of the tour for A Family Like Hannah's.  I love the Harlequin Heartwarming line- it's perfect for girls like me who love their romances sweet and clean.

Tate and Hannah are both fantastic characters.  They both had depth and development which is something so necessary for me as a reader.  I felt like I was getting to know them through each page- not only knowing them but liking them too.

Tate is determined to give his nephew a good life and a legacy.  He has goals and ideas for how to go about doing this.  There has been so much tragedy and now it is time for love and safety.  I loved this about Tate.  His concern, his protection and his planning.  I loved the mishmash family he created with his coach, his nephew and himself.  It wasn't typical, but it was family.  It felt good.

Hannah is strong and determined as well.  She and Tate are very alike, but different too.  Hannah has an easy way about her that makes her a very likable character.  I was drawn in by her charms just as Tate was.

This book was easy to read and hard to put down.  I was drawn in and invested in this story.  So good!

Content:  Clean, some references to drug addition and child neglect and abuse.  A brief moment of mild violence.
