Umm, in Europe we don`t have school mascots, at least in Latvia. But I know my school`s symbol is a butterfly made from three initials DKP (Dobeles Kristiga pamatskola- Dobele`s Christian Primary School) :D

I graduated high school back in 2002...And I went to university in England so there was no mascot there. So my high school mascot from when I was in high school was a Tiger =) x

High mascot was a Viking.
ReplyDeleteCollege mascot was a (rabid) Saint Bernard. Okay, he wasn't rabid really, but he was fierce looking. A lot of people at the university kinda thought the same too! Which in lieu I guess he had to be somewhat "rabid" since there were sport teams and whatnot! Can't have a cute cuddly Beethoven as a mascot now can we?! :D

High school is was a trail blazer... think Lewis and Clark. Now they just say blazer, which the current high schoolers think is funny b/c they use "blazed" and similar words to refer to smoking pot or getting high. lol

Wow, I have so many! My first high school was a ram. My second high school mascot was a Raider (like a pirate). My first university was the Dinos and my current university is a Golden Bear for men and a Panda for women.

I'm British and grew up in Portugal and unfortunately, we didn't have anything like that in any of the schools I attended. It would have been fun though. The same goes for cheerleaders... not that I would have been one, although I can dance (!) I cannot, for the life of me, do any acrobatics (probably for fear of getting hurt - I was always such a coward!)
