A Million Suns by Beth Revis

In book two of the Across the Universe trilogy, "New York Times"-bestselling author Revis mesmerizes readers again with a brilliantly crafted mystery filled with action, suspense, romance, and deep philosophical questions. And this time it all builds to one mind-bending conclusion: They have to get off this ship.

Wow.  Have you read this yet?  Wow.

This book?  Totally not where I expected it to go.  I got a few curve balls and surprises, which was nice.  I like to be surprised.  Well, pleasantly surprised anyway.

I finished this book so quickly.  It was a bit consuming and so good.  I love the writing and the story here.  Even better than the first book.  I felt the anxiety, the fear.  I felt the confusion and the tension.  Good stuff, that.  :)

I really feel like I can't say much about the actual story line.  What can I say without giving stuff away?

It's going to be an eternal wait for the next book.  But I love where this is going!  I can't wait to read it.

For all you clean readers, there is some language content.

  2. I've seen a lot of raving reviews about this one. It's good to hear that everyone really liked this book. For me I enjoyed Across the Universe more, but the ending of this really threw me. I'm interested to see what Beth comes up with next!

  5. I read the first book in this series, and while I quite liked it, it wasn't my favorite book in the world which is why I was hesitant to whether or not I should read A Million Suns. But you praised this book so effusively, I've decided to take the plunge and see if I can find a copy of this at my library :D
