My Obsession With Bookish Shirts PLUS 20% Discount at Literary Book Gifts!

I just had to show you guys my new bookish shirt.  I love it.  Lately I've had a bit of an obsession with bookish shirts and I've been buying them like it's Christmas every week.  Ha.  I'm going to show you a few over the next few weeks but I wanted to start with this one because, well, it's the newest!  :)

This shirt comes from Literary Book Gifts.  I love this site because it has shirt designs that look like old, vintage books.  It's so cool.  Mine is The Hunchback of Norte Dame by Victor Hugo.  It's awesome looking, right?  I just love it.

I sent a message to the owner of this store because I wanted to know about her designs- if she created them herself or if she found the images somewhere.  Here's what she said, "I do all the design work myself. I don't draw them, some are old book covers and some are remastered from vintage illustrations."  This makes me so happy.  I love old books!

I gathered a bit of information from Melissa to share with you.

My name is Melissa Chan, I have a background in design and am a lifelong reader of classic literature. I started this company not only because I love to read and bookish items, but also because I wanted to bring books off of the page and into real life. Vintage book shirts and bags make for amazing talking points that help generate discussion and pass on the love of literature to others. I love creating designs that resonate with readers, writers, and fans of literature in general.

Melissa has kindly offered a 20% off discount to all my friends too, which I think is so awesome of her.  Christmas is coming and book shirts make awesome, personal gifts.  Use promo code GettingYourReadOn20 at checkout.  Literary Book Gifts

Happy reading, everyone!

- Just so you know, I don't get anything out of this link or the promo code.  I just wanted to share something I love.  💙
