Follow My Book Blog Friday

Q. It's circle time. Time for us to open up and share. Can you tell us FIVE quirky habits or things about you? We all have them...

Only FIVE things?

1.  Toilet paper must hang over not under.  I don't like having to search for it.

2.  I can't go to sleep unless I read.  Reading clears my mind so I don't think of everything in the world I need to do or fix or remember...

3.  I make lists for everything.  There is power in checking things off lists.

4.  Don't mess with my feet.  Don't touch them.  I don't want them rubbed or massaged or anything else.  Pedicures are a necessary evil.  I like the end result but I hate all the touching of my feet.

5.  I can bust out a song for just about anything.  My kids hate it.  Just a few minutes ago my husband said, "oh, the cat came back."  I started singing some song I remembered, "the cat came back, I thought he was a goner but the cat came back again....".  It's obnoxious.  But, some of my proudest moments are when I say something and my kids start singing.  :)

  1. New Follower.

I love checking things off my To-do List. Sometimes I even write obvious random things just so I can check more things off it. I know weird. :)
    Have a wonderful weekend,

  2. Hi Aimee! Thanks for visiting my blog.
I'm with you on the toilet paper, it drives me mad when is not hanging on the proper side!
Have a nice Friday singing to your kids!

  5. New follower here. :) I completely agree with numbers 2 and 3. I've survived several semesters through check lists. They help keep that tenuous grip on sanity when things are hectic. I hope you have a great weekend.

  6. I also have trouble sleeping without reading first, and having a glass of milk prior. It's an old habit that will never die.

  7. Hmmm... let's see what I can come up with.

    1. I have to write out a grocery list or I can't go shopping.
    2. I like to collect pretty notebooks.
    3. I have to read every night before I go to sleep.
    4. I have to plan out my days, or run the risk of not getting anything done.
    5. I'm a total sap for Jane Austin novels and horror flicks.

    (#'s 1 & 4) Yes, I'm really that scatter-brained. =p It's pretty epic.

    Nice to meet you!

  8. Ewwww, I hate it when people touch my feet!! I hate touching other people's feet. Basically, I just hate feet in general, even the pretty ones. Thanks for commenting on my blog, and I hope you do check out The Ghost and The Goth! It's pretty great :)

  12. Hi Aimee! Thanks for following the blog! :)

So for these lists...are you guilty of making lists like me, where you add things you've already done just so you can be happy and cross it off again? lol

Happy Follow Friday! I look forward to chatting with ya about books and things!

  13. I make lists as well. Sometimes I put things I've already done or things I don't really need to add to the list because I'm about to do it just so I can cross it off.

  14. I totally agree with hating to search for the toilet paper (where it begins) haha!

Thank you for sharing and for stopping by!

  15. I also make a lot of lists but the problem is that I always loose the lists... so they don't help me much in the end! Have a wonerful weekend.

  16. I'm so jealous you lived near the Jelly Bean factory! I really would have loved it. Jelly Bean tour! And I feel exactly the same way about toilet paper! It exasperates me to no end when I go over someones house and I want to turn their toilet paper roll over! And I make lists for everything as well. It drives everyone around me batty. Happy Friday and thanks for stopping by!

  17. I'm the same way with toilet paper. I remember feeling panicky when I first at my son at the thought that I might have to turn it the other way so he didn't pull it all off the roll. Luckily he was never really interested in it, so I didn't have to change a thing.
