    I always take my granddaughter to the pumpkin patch where she gets to ride ponies and play games. My grandson will get to go this year. He was an infant last year, so he didn't get to go.

    Favorite fall activity is going out just to see the leaves changing colors. For Halloween, it is the decorating and seeing the children's costumes.

    My family always goes to the pumpkin patch and we each pick out a pumpkin for ourselves. We drink hot cider or pumpkin lattes while we do it-- it's so fun!

    My mom started a new tradition a few years ago. We get together for lunch a week or two before Halloween and do kids crafts, paint pumpkins, and then go to this thing called The Halloweenie Roast. They have games and activities, hayrides, bonfires, and all kinds of fun things. It's a fun tradition!

    Favorite halloween tradition is to visit the cemetery and light some candles for my love one then stay/hangout there over night also collecting left over wax candles and make some animal shaped wax out of it xD

    My favorite Halloween tradition now that I'm past trick or treating age is handing out the candy with my mom. We make sure to do it every year, and my mom and I both love seeing the kids in their costumes!

    I always loved making Halloween costumes from my existing wardrobe as a kid--it was frustrating sometimes when other kids would just buy one, but I was always so proud when I came up with something on my own :)

    At work we have a Halloween costume contest. I always dress up as a book character, but apparently people at work don't read because they never know who I am and I never win. One year I was a Slytherin student, I figured they would at least know Harry Potter!

    One of our favorite fall traditions is to have a large bonfire and cook hobo dinners on the coals, this year, I think we will have to cook the hobo dinners in the oven because of the dryness all around, but we will still have fun

    We have a great pumpkin patch at an orchard about an hour away. LOVE going there. And because I live in Texas where we don't really have "Fall" I love burning my favorite fall-scented candle-- Leaves from Bath & Body Works!

    We don't celebrate Halloween, but we have our own festival ie. festival of light- Deepawali. The best thing is homemade delicacies especially indian sweets that my mom make :)

    For Halloween spending the weekends up until the day watch horror movies together with my daughter. And fall, I love getting together for Thanksgiving as a family. Spending time with each other.
