I think I got myself into a reading rut over Christmas vacation.  I picked up a couple books, started them and then put them down because it just wasn't what I wanted to read.  I can be a moody reader- especially when I am reading for my own pleasure and not for reviews.  What do I really want to read?  I was in this predicament when I started reading this book by Cami Checketts.  I had picked up two books, started them, but they weren't tickling my fancy.  I started this book and right away it caught my attention because, hello kiss!  Yeah, I will admit with no shame that I really love when a books starts me off with a tingling kiss.  That was the hook for me with this book.  It made my drive through Nevada a WHOLE lot more pleasurable!!

The premise of this book is unlike any other I've read.  I loved the extreme sport slant and how Bridger was so gifted with athletics and didn't back down from the challenges posed to him.  He was strong, capable and determined.  He protected Avalyn with everything in him.  That is sexy.

This book hit my sweet spot for sure.  I loved all the yummy kissing, the swirling attraction and the building tension.  The story had me engaged and interested from start to finish.  I loved the ending.  <dreamy sigh>

Content:  mild violence, kissing

- I picked this book up on kindle unlimited.
