ReplyDeleteI always take my granddaughter to the pumpkin patch where she gets to ride ponies and play games. My grandson will get to go this year. He was an infant last year, so he didn't get to go.
ReplyDeleteFavorite fall activity is going out just to see the leaves changing colors. For Halloween, it is the decorating and seeing the children's costumes.

ReplyDeleteMy family always goes to the pumpkin patch and we each pick out a pumpkin for ourselves. We drink hot cider or pumpkin lattes while we do it-- it's so fun!

ReplyDeleteMy mom started a new tradition a few years ago. We get together for lunch a week or two before Halloween and do kids crafts, paint pumpkins, and then go to this thing called The Halloweenie Roast. They have games and activities, hayrides, bonfires, and all kinds of fun things. It's a fun tradition!

At work we have a Halloween costume contest. I always dress up as a book character, but apparently people at work don't read because they never know who I am and I never win. One year I was a Slytherin student, I figured they would at least know Harry Potter!
