When I was 3 I was an ice cube! It was even my idea. My dad took a cardboard box and painted it blue and wrapped it in saran wrap and I wore a blue sweat suit and blue make-up.

ReplyDeleteLast year I went as my mom. I wore a wig of her old hairstyle in the 80s along with bright pink and blue sweat pants and since she is a cat lady I pinned a ton of stuffed cats on myself. She thought it was hilarious :) Thank you!

Although I wasn't too creative on costumes, my mom was! She scared the crap out of us when I was coming home from school. She dressed as a cavewoman...totally believable out of the cave days! Scared me to pieces and I was a teenager! :)

But, about halfway through the night we decided to switch costumes! It was a fun night, and I liked that we both got to rock each other's costumes in our own way.

My dad made our costumes one year. We were fairies. He used Xmas lights for the wings, crowns, and wands. Several folks thought we were dressed as Xmas trees! It was cool.
